Smart Cards are an AI-powered feature in ideaShell that generates content tailored to your needs, such as to-dos, summaries, or even event planning. Beyond generating content, Smart Cards also offer improved display formats and richer sharing options. You can easily save them as Word documents, PDFs, and more, seamlessly integrating them into your workflow.

Currently, there are many pre-designed Smart Cards available for direct use, and more will be added in the future. If you have personalized needs, you can customize Smart Cards to generate content that better suits your requirements.


How to Customize Smart Cards?

Customizing Smart Cards is simple. If you’ve used AI, you might have heard of terms like “prompts” or “commands”—these are essentially instructions to guide AI in generating the content you want.

For example:

You input a simple meeting note:

“Had a meeting this morning to discuss the launch date for the new product. Everyone agreed on early next month. We also mentioned the need to optimize user experience, and the tech team said they’d need one more week for testing. Finally, we discussed the marketing plan, and the marketing team promised to prepare the proposal soon.”

And you ask AI to make it more formal:

“A meeting was held this morning to discuss the launch date of the new product, with all participants agreeing on an early next month release. Additionally, the need for user experience optimization was highlighted, and the tech team estimated an extra week for testing. The meeting concluded with a discussion of the marketing plan, and the marketing team committed to preparing and submitting a proposal promptly.”

It’s that simple! ideaShell‘s Smart Cards not only enhance writing but can also help with analysis, document translation, report writing, and most other text-based tasks.


How to Create Custom Smart Cards in ideaShell


Follow these steps to create your own custom Smart Card, with AI guiding you throughout:

  1. Open the Customization Tool:

    Tap the button in the bottom left corner of your note screen.

  2. Start Customizing:

    Select “Customize Your Smart Card.”

  3. Input Your Needs:

    Describe what content you want the Smart Card to generate. Tip: Use the voice input button in the lower right corner of the input box for convenience.

  4. Optimize with AI:

    After entering your description, tap “Optimize with AI.” The AI will refine your input to ensure the Smart Card generates content that meets your needs.

  5. Save Your Smart Card:

    Once the AI displays the optimized prompt in the input box, tap “Save” in the top right corner to finalize it.

  6. Further Improvements:

    If you’re not satisfied with the AI’s optimized prompt, tap “Want further improvements? Let AI help you” at the bottom. You can chat with the AI, describing your needs, and it will refine the instructions further. Once satisfied, save the changes.
