How to import/export an audio file?

Import audio

We not only support recording audio, but also importing audio. You can import audio from your own voice recordings or videos using the following three methods:

  1. Use the “+” button on the home screen to select “Import Audio,” then choose an audio or video file from your photo library or files (the audio will automatically be extracted from video files).

  2. Import from third-party apps. To do this, simply open the third-party app, select the “Share” option, or use another app to open the file.

Special Reminder: The supported audio formats for import include: AAC, AIFF, CAF, FLAC, M4A, MP3, MP4 and WAV. Due to inconsistencies in the design of some software, the file extension may not match the actual encoding format, which could result in import failures. If you encounter this issue, we recommend using third-party editing software (such as CapCut) to edit the audio and export it as a standard MP3 format before importing it into ideaShell.

Export Audio

There are two scenarios:

1. For content shorter than 10 minutes:

Click the button at the top-right corner of the text card to enter the transcription details. Then, click “More” and select the option to export audio.

2. For content longer than 10 minutes:

Click the orange card to enter the transcription details. Then, click “More” and choose to export audio.
