● What languages does ideaShell support?
Currently, the ideaShell interface supports English, Chinese (Traditional/Simplified), and Japanese. Since it uses AI technology, it supports voice input, conversation, and content generation in 50+ languages.
● What is the difference between ideaShell’s voice transcription and other voice transcription app?
Ordinary transcription software primarily converts audio to text without analyzing the meaning of the language. In contrast, ideaShell uses AI to not only convert audio to text but also to correct errors based on content, reduce filler words, and finally format the text into segments. It generates appropriate titles, tags, and summaries, making the entire note more logical, easier to read and understand, and easier to find.
● How do I summarize a conversation into a new note?
That’s great! You’ve discovered this feature! After discussing your note with the AI, you can generate a new note, which essentially allows your ideas to grow. Here’s how to do it: select “Generate Smart Card,” and the AI will organize it for you. Then, click the export button, and the first option will be to generate a new note.
● How do I import an audio file?
We currently support importing audio content through external sharing. Select the file you want to import, click the system’s share button, and choose ideaShell to import it.
● How do I export my content?
Conveniently exporting to other apps is one of the key features of ideaShell. You can click the export button next to the note card or smart card to export your content.
● What is the maximum supported recording duration?
For new users, a single recording can last up to 1 minute. Premium users have no time limit for a single recording. For recordings longer than 10 minutes, you need to manually click the convert button for AI transcription. Soon, we will optimize the experience for longer recordings.
● How do I use the AI conversation feature?
After creating a new note, you can directly interact with the AI in the dialog box at the bottom of the interface, just like communicating your ideas with a wise person.
You can also generate the content you want, such as summaries, through the Smart Card feature.
● What should I do if there is too much conversation and I want to delete and start a new chat?
You can click the “Clear Conversation” button in the top right corner of the details page. This will delete your conversation content (irreversible), including chat content and Smart Cards. If you need to save the Smart Card content, you can click the export button on the Smart Card to export it or create a new note.
● How do I convert a Smart Card into a new note?
Yes, a Smart Card can be directly converted into a new note. For example, after discussing with the AI, you can generate a new note with the summary in one click and continue the discussion, thereby preserving the old content.
